The 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS

The HRR is a retro-styled vehicle produced by Chevrolet. It was created with the 1949 Suburban as its design inspiration.

 

The base model of the HRR, which is High Heritage Roof, is powered by a 143-horespower 2.2 liter in-line four engine while on higher trim levels, a 172 horsepower 2.4 version is used. Its transmission can either be standard five-speed manual or an optional four-speed automatic.

 

For the 2008 model year, the Chevrolet HHR SS is set to deliver more power by including a turbocharged version of a 2.0 liter Ecotec by GM. It is equipped with a manual transmission and can deliver as much as 260 horsepower. Moreover, the safety features are upgraded with anti-lock control and stability control.

 

The 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS is also more exciting with a new design of the grill and rear spoilers, and a distinct SS badging. Three interior colors are also available, along with 18-inch wheels.
