Chevrolet Epica
The Chevrolet Epica is a Korean-built four-door saloon. It will take its power from a choice of 2.0-litre six-cylinder engines, with the petrol car delivering 140bhp and the diesel 150bhp. These will be mated to six-speed manual or automatic gearboxes.
The Chevy Epica is set to rival non-premium big cars such as the Peugeot 607. The Epica’s unusual compact petrol powerplant is the result of a development programme started by Dr Ulrich Bez – now boss of Aston Martin. Successor to the Leganza – which wore a Daewoo badge before the Chevrolet brand name was adopted in 2005 – the Epica is called Magnus in Korea. It will be costing from around £15,000.
It is expected to be available in the market by the end of this year.
Exciting Changes For The 2008 Chevrolet Matiz
The Chevrolet Matiz is having exciting changes for its 2008 model. The exterior changes are expected to give the Matiz a fresh, sporty and more modern look. All modifications will be available for the SX and SE models.
The exterior changes are most noticeable at the front end. The new two-tone bumper (black and body color) integrates the air intake in a sporty, more aggressive fashion. The upper part of the bumper, which is noticeably larger, includes the Chevrolet logo. The lower part features a honeycomb design and extends into the black area where the number plate is mounted.
The theme is continued by black rails that run across the doors and the entire side of the vehicle. The sharp edges of the rear bumper take up the design and the lower black portion of the bumper complements the sporty character of the new Matiz.
The three-tone interior will be available for all Matiz models. The small Chevrolet can now also be ordered with orange, green and blue interior trims. While the current trim is only available in grey with colored patterns, the new interior offers colorful fabrics with grey patterns, giving the car a fresh and young look.
